AiM Skiing Bootcamps
Would you like to progress to your next level of skiing or snowboarding? Do ski exercises really gear you up for the new season?
Wall sits and Leg raises – seriously! Have you ever injured yourself skiing or struggle with ski boots, pain or lack of confidence on the slopes? Are you ready for a totally new skiing experience thanks to improved body awareness and improved mobility, balance and power?
Biomechanics and training expert Gary Ward teams up with a skiing expert to deliver biomechanical assessments, expert advice on equipment and top coaching tips to take to the mountains with you alongside your own full body exercise programme that prepares you for the full three dimensions your body is subjected to on a pair of skis. Not only your skiing, but everyday movement patterns as well, will be enhanced when using the AiM Technology.
Cut down the risk of injury on the slopes: not only by preparing your body for the action but by learning to increase the range of motion at key joints such as hip, knee and ankle – reducing the concern of common ski injuries. Skiing is a full body sport. Each joint is designed to have freedom in three planes of motion. If one joint has limited range, all other joints are affected. This means that muscles lose their optimal potential too. Your skiing, reliant on muscle and joint function, is compromised due to the various compensations occurring in the body – and there’s nothing you can do about it! Our biomechanical assessments and application of the AiM Technology ensure joint motion restoration during this one day event.
To transform the joint inhibitions in your body gives instant freedom to your muscles. The exercises help to strengthen and develop the specific muscles for skiing, which results in more ski time, greater recovery times and drastically reduces the risk of injury. This is a breakthrough in one day skiing workshops designed to enhance your thrill on the slopes and your level of skiing too. Joint range of motion and increased awareness in your body also instils confidence in your mind and body, heightening your experience on the hill.
