Are you looking to understand human movement? Do you want to accelerate your clients toward their goals? Do you want to help people with pain in their daily life or with injury in their chosen sport?
Imagine doing all of this in a fast, effective, enjoyable and efficient way as you guide the client through corrective, rehabilitative, developmental and performance phases of their training.
The AiM courses cater for newly qualified* to advanced Personal Trainers and even attract physios, osteopaths, podiatrists and the medical fraternity into our catchment too. Why? The AiM technology caters for and complements all existing therapies. What we teach is fresh, new and usable from day one. All you need is a Personal Trainer qualification or a sports science degree or to be a practising medical therapist.
Some experience of working with clients is advisable for new PTs.
“Locate and treat the cause and not the effect using AiM’s global as opposed to local approach”
Finding Centre
The Finding Centre course program is a 12 day course split over four 3 day sessions. These can be paid for individually or in full to receive a discount. The course is designed to be taken as a whole and do not represent levels of difficulty as such – more they are designed to complement each other to facilitate the understanding.
Level One combines the original workshops as advertised on this site.
and takes a basic look at the 5 laws of motion, motion based muscle function and the role of the skeleton in motion such as gait, in particular two phases of gait. So that we can build exercises to replicate function and effectively press the reset button on our clients and get them back to normal activity as soon as possible.
Level Two, Three and Four build on this information to enable us to understand the role of the skeleton in all six phases of gait as well as all daily movement patterns. Thus informing us of more accurate exercise to correct isolated parts of the full motion cycle. We will use pressure platform testing and motion analysis in later levels and delve into the part of the mind that governs function when our anatomy is in motion. We also take a look at the mechanics of the foot and witness the power it holds over the body in a movement based environment. Our knowledge of the foot builds from basic to advanced through the program with information supplied by leading podiatrists.
The AiM Educational program is a 360° approach to understanding anatomy; weighing up the conventional concentric-static approach and combining it with the eccentric-dynamic model.
The AiM Educational program is thoroughly three dimensional in it's approach to all things physical.
Motion is 3dimensional, as is joint motion and muscle motion. There are major limitations to human potential when operating one dimensionally: poor posture, physical pain, risk of injury and restricted performance. This applies to everyone from your average Joe to a world class athlete.
“I have just completed Level 3 and can’t wait until Level 4 in February. My own body and mind have changed in so many ways and I can honestly say that I feel amazing. I achieve much better results with clients and am able to help people in pain rather than working around the pain or injury.”
