Breaking the Mould of Human Anatomical Understanding
By the end of this course, you will:
- Be able to use gait and motion analysis to determine bespoke programmes
- Apply strong biomechanical awareness to all clients you work with
- Give clients the opportunity to break through barriers of long term physical problems
- Use modern technology & software to work with all manner of clients and all manner of pain with a different approach to other trainers and therapists
- Generate new exercises and develop existing ones using the 3D model
- Overcome your own physical inhibitions and begin to access your own unknown potential
- Fall in love with the human body all over again!
Level ONE (3 days)
The Level One course offers all the fundamental information of Motion based anatomy to provide you with the skills to assess movement potential, posture and basic foot biomechanics, to reinstate efficient movement and create fun and exciting exercise programmes for your clients. All packaged up in a brand new way to assess and work with the human body using the AiM philosophy.
You will learn:
- the 5 laws of motion
- to describe and apply the true functional role of muscles, bones and joints
- to break down the whole skeletal system to understand it's role in motion, gait and performance
- to analyse static posture in a dynamic environment
- about the nervous system and its role in motion (introduction)
- to develop exercises to correct alignment, minimise myo-fascial tension and increase performance potential
- infinite ways of enhancing existing and common everyday exercises and movement patterns
Level TWO (3 Days)
Level Two builds on Level One to offer a full dynamic, corrective and developmental solution for yourself and your clients.
We teach you the ideal patterns, you seek out the real patterns and prescribe exercises to make long lasting change.
Covering:
- Foot postures and basic biomechanics
- Manual interaction
- Introducing the Flow Motion model
- Skeletal interaction in six phases of gait
- Functional testing for movement patterns and corrective programmes
- the nervous system and its role in motion (intermediate)
Level THREE (3 Days)
The human body has an awareness beyond the conscious mind. We regularly target the conscious mind to override postural systems with specific commands such as “stand tall with shoulders back”. The subconscious mind runs through the whole body and is communicated through the neural and 3D Fascial Systems. we learn to target this part of the mind, that flows through the body's systems so the body itself forces the transformation in it’s posture and potential. In effect we begin to get the body to do the healing.
Covering:
- The Biomechanics of soft tissue and the 3d Fascial Systems
- Mapping the Fascial Systems onto the Flow Motion model of the foot
- The mechanics of static posture
- Advanced biomechancs of the foot
- Introducing pressure plate technology and motion analysis
- Working with pain and inhibition
- the nervous system and its role in motion (intermediate)
We love feet! And we love them even more as we discover just how much power they hold over the whole body. Who called them "slave joints"? We could just as equally call them the "Emperor" as they govern the rest of the system in a motion based environment.
Level FOUR (3 days)
The intention in level four is to recognise that the previous three levels give us all the tools we need to recognise past, present and future pain. To plot injury pathology through the body as a result of the overall biomechanical alignment and function of the muscular, joint, neural and fascial systems.
Covering:
- Plotting injury patterns through the kinetic chain
- Using pressure plate tehnology to determine injury and potential pain
- The great tension exchange
- Movement and breathe
- Exercise adaptations and patterning to minimise recovery time and exaggerate performance potential
